A Cradle Song (From Songs of Innocence) SSAA

Lyrics are by William Blake, from his poem of the same name, from a collection of poems titled Songs of Innocence. The poem is of a mother's calming words to her newborn child. She remarks at how wonderful it is to know that the Lord was once too a weeing babe as she soothes her crying child. While not strickly a Christmas song, A Cradle Song goes well with any wintertime concerts.
