Parasite

A thriller only becomes a thriller if it constantly maintains your attention. If that is the only qualification, then Parasite definitely fits the bill as a fantastic thriller. Not only did it hold my attention from the start to end, it is visually engaging, thematically rich, and never held on a idea too long to get boring. No spoilers, but you have seen the movie you know that about halfway through a big change happens. In my opinion, the best quality of the movie is its pacing, both within each scene and the story as a whole, and that midway turning point is the film's shinning achievement. It came at the best point in the story. Any longer and my attention would start to wane, but any sooner, then the characters would be underdeveloped. It's worth the view. 5/5
