I specialize in tailoring my instruction to meet the unique needs of each student, and I am committed to ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. My Mission
Nic aims to create an enjoyable and enriching experience with every lesson with the goal of developing a lifelong engagement in music. For most students, learning the piano is a gateway to a lifelong passion for music, but it can also help with confidence, critical thinking and social-emotional learning.
When I was 5 years old, my parents signed me up for my first piano lesson, and now, 24 years later, I'm still attending lessons. I am a passionate musician who holds a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University and a master’s degree in music theory and composition from Southern Illinois University. Currently, I am the choral accompanist at Naperville North High School while also being a full-time piano instructor. In my free time you might find me performing in various musicals throughout DuPage County. Together, we will explore all aspects of piano performance, from learning how to read sheet music to performing a wide range of music. I am patient, dedicated, and determined to help you succeed.
